I rarely watch movies, and even when I do, my concentration is usually only half-hearted. However, feeling bored recently, I made the decision to watch a Telugu movie called SVSC, which was released in 2013.
The movie’s story is set in a village and carries a warm atmosphere, with each character possessing distinct features. But I want to focus on the character of Venkatesh.
Venkatesh appears to be a straightforward person. At the beginning of the movie, his boss, who also happens to be his uncle, asks him to greet his coworkers. Venkatesh replies by saying,
“I don’t like to wish. What is the point?”
Despite his peers advancing their careers through learning new courses, Venkatesh remains steadfast and unmoving. His uncle urges him to improve his career, to which Venkatesh responds,
“I will stay like this only . Everything has its limits.”
Even when his boss attempts to instruct him on proper behavior, Venkatesh responds rudely. Eventually, he quits his job and returns to the village.
Later on, when his sister receives a good marriage proposal, Venkatesh stubbornly rejects it because he believes it’s not perfect. However, during the ongoing wedding ceremony, his father asks him to greet all the guests.
As he moves around, his uncle accidentally chokes on water. In that moment, his uncle, holding a half-filled glass, starts rambling about the importance of completing tasks. This triggers Venkatesh’s temper, and he creates a commotion.
He then expresses his frustration to his brother, saying,
“I will stay like myself. I don’t care about anything, nor do I have an interest in impressing others. Everything has its limits.”
Throughout the movie, Venkatesh consistently displays an unwavering level of stubbornness.
Did he lose anything?
Yes, he did. He lost the ability to see his own mistakes, as he remains stuck in the same place. He perceives everyone advising him as looking down on him and believes he knows what’s best.
What I want to say is… Stop staying stubborn and if u don’t know something just say u don’t know instead of pretending
