secret to happiness
Last year, I took my final exams. I aced my math exam exceptionally well, and I was confident I would score a perfect 10 CGPA. On the other hand, I messed up my computer paper so badly that I thought I might fail. As the anticipation for the results built up over three months, I experienced the highs of success and the lows of uncertainty.
Drum rolls
When the results finally arrived, I passed my computer exam, but I got an 8 in mathematics. In that moment, where joy and disappointment coexisted, I came to a profound realization: having fewer expectations makes us feel happier.
less expectation more happiness
Don’t Force Anything to Happen
I have a reminder on my hand for myself. We all have goals and aspirations, and we often obsess over them, creating internal anxiety and resistance. Amidst the pressure to control every outcome, I’ve learned that sometimes, it’s better to surrender to the universe and let it guide you.
Surrender without giving up,let’s things unfold themselves.
Never Be Vulnerable with Unworthy People
The other day, someone close to me (“A”) harshly criticized my hair, causing severe back and neck pain. As I grappled with the emotional aftermath, I decided to confide in another person (“B”). However, their response, “Maybe you should comb it well. When it’s ugly, we say it’s ugly,” shocked me. It wasn’t their opinion on my hair that upset me but rather their inability to acknowledge my pain, leaving me to confront my vulnerability alone. That night, tears became my silent companions.
so share u vulnerabilities with worthy people
