2.A car of mass 1200kg is moving on a straight road with a speed of 20m/s.The driver applies the brakes,and the car comes to a stop after moving a distance of 30m.Fint the magnitude of the retarding force and the time taken for the car to come to a stop?

3.A ball is thrown horizontally from a height of 10m with an initial velocity of 10m/s.Find the time taken for the ball to hit the ground and the horizontal distance traveled by the ball?

4.A wheel of radius 1m is rolling without slipping on a horizontal surface.The wheel has a mass of 10kg and a moment of inertia of 1/2mr2 .If a constant horizontal force of 100N is applied to the wheel what is its angular acceleration and it’s linear acceleration at the point of contact with the surface?

5.A uniform rod of mass M and length L is pivoted at one end and is free to rotate in a vertical plane.The rod is rotated in a vertical plane.The rod is released from rest in a horizontal position.What is the maximum angle through which rod rotates?
